3.15 Escort Consumers' Rights and Interests | Promise-U lawyer launched a public welfare law popularization activity of "Helping Legal Interpretation and Promoting Consumer Confidence"

In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Central Economic Work Conference, the China Consumers Association has determined the theme of the 2023 National Consumers Association's Year of Consumer Rights Protection as "boosting consumer confidence.".

On March 15, 2023, jointly sponsored by the Party Committee of Lakeview Community and the General Party Branch of Promise-U Law Firm, and co sponsored by Promise-U Public Welfare Legal Service Center and the Youth Work Committee, the March 15 Consumer Rights Day Public Welfare Law Popularization Activity was held in Lakeview Community Law Park.

The theme of the activity is "Promoting the popularization of law and interpretation and boosting consumer confidence", and the activity is carried out in the form of "fixed-point popularization of law+mobile popularization of law".

A public welfare legal consultation point will be set up at the event site, and Promise-U lawyers will provide on-site publicity for community residents on how to protect consumer rights and answer legal questions. At the event site, through consumer rights protection knowledge Q&A, legal popularization board games, photo taking and card printing, stamp collection, gift exchange, free refreshments, and other links, guide consumers to learn legal usage, safeguard their own consumption rights, and guide residents to consume scientifically and rationally in a lively and user-friendly manner.

In the form of "mobile law popularization" activities, three groups of public welfare law popularization lawyers and volunteers from Lakeview Community visited more than 80 merchants around Lakeview Community, distributed 315 law popularization brochures and honest business proposals to each merchant, provided legal advice, invited merchants to participate in photo taking and card printing, and popularized laws and interpretations to community merchants through door-to-door delivery.

The atmosphere at the event site was warm and the enthusiasm of the masses was high. A total of over 300 legal publicity brochures were distributed, and over 20 people answered on-site public inquiries, with over 70 people participating in all aspects of the event. Residents and merchants in the Lake View community have praised the event and achieved good publicity effects on the rule of law.
